Beautiful, I love the analogy of the elephant. Baruch HaShem I thought of a similar and amazing idea that can also be drawn from this analogy. Just like the elephant gets bigger as it grows older, but still is confined by the string. We too, every day, by the experiences we have, the mitzvahs we do, and the Torah we learn get bigger and stronger, even if we don't realise. We ARE the ever growing elephant. We just don't know how powerful we have become. Some of us to the point where we can uproot mountains. Choosing to do what is right is breaking that string or uprooting that mountain.
